Fish the Dream

These water dwelling animals may represent messages from our unconscious and indicate to us how well we navigate through our emotional waters. They could symbolize body and soul nourishment and navigation through the unknown depths of ourselves. Fish are often symbols used by the dream to describe psychic happenings or experiences that suddenly dart out of the unconscious.

The fish is a very powerful and positive image in many world traditions; as a symbol of fertility, a symbol for mystical secrets, the coming of Jesus (ushering in the Age of Pisces the Fish) which encapsulates the mysticism, love, and happiness to which all world traditions ascribe to the fish.

There are, therefore, many possibilities if you dream of a fish - all good, even if the fish was a greatly feared one like the shark. If there is a possibility of a pregnancy, dreaming of a fish could mean that a child is on the way, and the pregnancy and birth will be uneventful and result in a healthy baby.
